Nice wee pub, for a tourist, it gives a traditional atmosphere. Not much selection of beer and drinks in general, but an excellent place to kill some time and have a pint and a chat with friends. Prices are good for Edinburgh. The staff was friendly and overall an excellent service.

This is a little like being in someones living room. it is a small bar in an old tenement, chairs line each wall and the bar is at the front. The staff are chatty and friendly, and the customers varied from two people who looked like they always went there, a couple of tourists and also a hen party!
I wouldn’t make a special trip to go here, but would happily visit again.

I think the sign I saw on the door said «The Waterloo Bar» but the location seems right.
We popped in for a quick beer to dodge the rain. Very basic selection of beers at about £3 each. Not much to say about décor: there are chairs, tables and bar seats but not much for atmosphere. It is very close to the train which makes it a good spot if you are killing time. Service was very friendly.
