Anything you need in a pinch. It’s a decent corner shop to have close by and the staff are nice. I particularly like their Pot Noodle offer where you can buy a Pot Noodle and they will charge you an extra few pence to put hot water in it. Additionally, if you bring in your own Pot Noodle(or other dried noodles) they’ll charge you a few pence for water. I find that policy completely bizarre… both by the fact they will make up your Pot Noodle and the fact that enough people brought their own for the shop to need a sign and a policy for it…

Viewforth Grocers is located on the junction with Viewforth and Gilmore Place, immediately opposite Viewforth Glazing. It is an average corner shop, that is more likely to attract business because of its location, rather than because it is an amazing shop. Inside, you’ll be able to find everything you’d see in a normal shop of this type. There are also some things you might not find, like a small DIY section near the chillers. The guy that runs it is pleasant enough, serving all customers well. It’s difficult to find much to say about this place, because it is just like any other corner shop. If you live nearby, then it would save you a walk to Scotmid or Tesco, and so from that point of view I can recommend it.
