This studio gallery is a space for contemporary art, to be showcased and for sale. Like Emma, I am not the greatest conosseiur of the arts, but I know what I like, and I really enjoyed a browse around this gallery. My particular favourite exhibition was the Imogen Alabaster boards, which are unique splashes of colour with really cool images, in a dream like pattern. Very cool, and quite reasonable at £200−250. Watch out for changing exhibitions and sales on at the Gallery.

Unfortunately my paltry income means that I am unable to justify the expense of buying original art, but if it did I would definitely pick up a few pieces from the Union Gallery. I walk past it everyday on the way to and from work, and on the occasions that I pop in for a nosey, I always see things that I like. The exhibitions/collections change every couple of months and there is usually a good mixture of paintings and sculptures on display. The works are contemporary and it exhibits a lot of abstract, figurative and landscape paintings. For those that have the cash to spare, there are many things that might just take your fancy.
