I always planned to go in and check out this woodenly decorated place. The outside and the inside interior is all done up using wood panels and beams. It just looks very lovely and it is easy to the eye when passing by. I stopped and the waitress came outside to welcome me, asking what I think of the menu. Her name is Rose and she started to work there only recently. I mentioned that I find some of the Breakfast prices quite steep, but when she pointed me to the fact that the bacon rolls and other sandwiches are only about £2.50, I thought I give it a try. I took a window seat and ordered a bacon roll and Americano coffee with milk on the side. The service was fast and the bacon roll really soft with a touch of toasted flavour. The owners, I believe, are Turkish and you might notice a certain Middle East influence to the food they serve. People stopped by to order a take away, mostly from the delightful range of salad choice for £5 each or £6.50 when sitting in. You can also order paninis, sandwiches and other sort of bread with fillings like Parma Ham, Chorizo… and lots of veggies. They have several coffee choices on the go, which particular practical as this place is just around the corner of Haymarket Station. Also, they do dessert(2 choices) of Armenian cakes(honey or cocoa). Overall its a lovely, funky place near a very buzzing location and somehow you still get the peace that you deserve when enjoying a quick meal.

Troy café-bistro 18 – 20 Dalry rd Eh112ba Free deliver 07921874443 A wonderful surprise. Tremendous wee place. Coffee gorgeous. More over the service and ambiance. So much care. The buffet is stunning. Fresh and bright. The owner is on hand a sweet gentleman. The waitress thinks laterally and is incredibly astute. She sincere and thought up a way to give what I was wanting. A wee nibble as I’m just waiting on my friend arriving at haymarket train station. I asked for a coffee and then was drawn to look at the beautiful food. I asked a croissant? Waitress put forward and idea! A tiny amount and pay £3.50 instead of the £6.50 buffet eat in or £5 take out. Brilliant is location. I’ve seen the location change names and owner a fair few time over last 20 years. This Turkish themed place I feel can do really really well. Was never drawn to enter the others. I feel like I’m in Turkey the way the cooks and owner are talking in Turkish organising the buffet. Can’t tell you how impressed I am. The radio station is fab. Normal not keen but it all seems to fit. Volume perfect. Can’t wait to come again. 5 stars! Sincerely. Ps. So clean in here. Spotless. I think this waitress is fab. She sweeps and keeps busy topping up and checking stuff. So approachable and calm.
