Called in here on a whim at the weekend and have already been back in a second time. A bar with both character and characters. A decent amount of TVs for various sports channels, one real ale on tap(currently Doom Bar at £2.50 a pint), dartboard, books in one corner and DVDs(unsure if these are for loan or viewing in the pub). No idea if the place gets busy or overly lively when Hibs are playing at home but on the evidence so far it’s a decent pub unfazed by passing fads or trends that is getting on and doing what it does best.

Pokey horrible dive. Hasnt had a lick of paint since the 60’s. Felt I had to get a shower after I left the place. Yuk!

This is a decent pub with pints, a tv and a laid back atmosphere. It’s casual and relaxing rather than somewhere you’d go for an occasion.

This bar is frequented only by local’s whom mostly all appear to be old age pensioner’s also they all seem to be a bunch of drunks the local’s in this bar also appear very rude + unfriendly towards any person seen as an outsider the toilet if you want to call it such, there’s no running hot water. Looking around when in this bar for only the 1 pint i add in which apart from not being good beer which was the reason i left it lying and walked out was the very unfriendly locals in this bar, shall never ever go back into this bar again.

A welcome haven just off Leith walk. Friendly bar staff & punters will chat to you. Traditional style pub has changed little over the years but just enough to keep it up to date! prices are reasonable & they have a pie warming oven! Not sure if they ever sell pies but they do have crisps, nuts, Jars of cockles & mussels too! Well worth a visit if you’re in the area!
