It does a few things, and it does them very well: coffee(not even decaf available) and waffles. In the lovely wee«village» of Marchmont, this small and clean-cut café has a bullish presence on the street(I’m referring to the bull-motif on the blackboard outside). Situated beside some fruit mongers, fish monghers, Sweet Melindas restaurant, and a few other local shops and quiet cafés, it stands out despite it’s small doorway. It’s cleancut inside, narrow but long, and at the end you’ll find some darned good coffee. I believe the owner is the photographer behind the snaps on the wall, of very famous people I might add. A photographer to the stars. And now he has a café in Marchmont that sells coffee with a kick and waffles. As I said, they don’t even do decaf. And no savoury food. Just those mamma-sounding waffles. They do have free wifi and everytime I’ve passed, there’s professional types on their MacBooks working away. I may have top pop along soon to give it a go myself. It’s a coffee god-send in the area, and definitely where I’ll go for my caffeine fix when I’m passing.

I’m hesitant to leave a review of such a young company as doubtless much will change in the coming weeks as business is evaluated. However I feel confident in giving a high rating as a unique, variety of teas guarantees a unique experience. Small and trendy, the biggest draw is the tea. With WiFi one can spend hours reading the teas, and with constant hot water top ups makes smaller pot size irrelevant.
