The Basler Shop

The Basler Shop is a great little ladies clothing boutique which is a fantastic place if you want to buck the trend and buy your clothes from a non-​high street store.
Situated in Thistle Street, The Basler Shop is right in the centre of the New Town area of Edinburgh and it is just around the corner from the main shopping street in Edinburgh, Princes Street, and so it is a convenient place to reach.
The Basler shops sells a lovely selection of women’s clothing including trousers, tops, skirts, dresses, shirts and jackets. I have only found this shop fairly recently and I have just visited it once, but I was very impressed with it. The clothes are arranged in a sensible order and there aren’t too many on the shop floor so you don’t feel overwhelmed when you are looking through the racks. Most of the clothes in Basler are smart work types clothes, but they also sell a selection of casual, evening and formal wear too so it is a great store to go to buy an outfit for any type of occasion. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, but give customers space to all them to browse the clothes in peace — the best combination!
The clothes are very well priced with most items in the range of £50, and the clothes are of excellent quality and so it is fantastic value for money. The Basler Shop has frequent sales so it is worth a look to grab a fantastic bargain.
