Somehow this place has still not moved to a better location, but hidden away as it is, make sure you do not miss out on the Thai goodies it has to offer. It is mainly a lunch bar for Thai salads and coffees but they do a full menu as well. The salads are excellent, averaging about £6.50 they have a range of seafoood, beef, dick, steak and vegetarian options. Delicately but excellently spiced, they are light but really filling. The Yum Nuea is amazing, with sirloin steak, with salad and a garlic, lime and fresh chilli sauce. The other Thai dishes are great as well, with curries, stirfries and a good Pad Thai. They all average about £6.50 which is pretty good value for excellent Thai food. There is also a good range of coffees, which although are not my beverage of choice, are pretty good. The service is excellent, and for good quality cheap Thai food, there is nothing better around. It is just a shame that it is locked away in this little corner of Edinburgh, but it you’re around it’s a great little Thai Pad.
