I was first attracted to this café by the purple paint that sticks out like a sore thumb on Gorgie Road. I come here quite often with my friend who lives locally. it is a great little café to have a good filling snack in. They offer a good range of sandwiches and wraps, freshly made in front of you, a range of drinks, both hot and cold as well as hot food. I opted for a chicken curry which they serve everyday and although the sauce was pretty bland and the chicken pretty hard, you can’t really expect restaurant quality from a small café. The café has a different ‘special’ every day including haggis and stew so you will never get bored of the menu. it’s definitely worth a visit if you want a good portioned meal on a budget.
