They’ve stepped up. More thoughtful about the music –style and volume– and have been great about some odd requests on my food.
Nice basic food. It always was nice.
I go occasionlly now.

i like the food but cant say it is a very friendly place and the sport channel is always on tho they do have a lovely conservatory to dine in

Tanners is a great wee local pub with a restaurant at the back. They will also serve you snacks in the pub area. The restaurant is really quiet during the week (i.e. it’s likely you will be the only one there) but don’t let that put you off they will still serve you. The food is tasty and reasonably priced and although the main menu rarely changes there is a speicals board.
Pub quiz on a Thursday night is only for the really clever! (well I never know any of the answers!)
There is a car park at the back and it’s really easy to find, being on the main road.

Roomy local pub with restaurant. The TV is often on with sports but not too loud. The staff seem quite helpful generally. Lovely location for walks by the water of Leith. There is a car park round the back, and it is a really short walk from the bus stop (bus no 44) as well.
