I am going to sound like a total cow here, but hear me out before you judge. I come from an area of Glasgow which isn’t the nicest, and you get your fair share of louts and neds in pubs and clubs who are hell bent on ruining things for other punters. I know all about fights and stabbings and drug-taking and dodgy bouncers, but this place took the proverbial biscuit. I was genuinely scared walking into this place. Like I have said before, I have an Auntie who lives in Edinburgh and I had wanted to try this pub out so I could Unilocal about it, so she agreed to go in with me one day after a late lunch. It was around 6 pm when we opened the doors and it was around 6.06 pm when we almost sprinted out the door. The place looked shabby, the people were literally so drunk they were drooling, there was actual vomit in a corner and I didn’t see anyone rush to clean it up. My Auntie is almost 60 and we got a chorus of ‘waaaay-heeey’ when we walked through the pub, which was really rude and unnecessary. We didn’t even stop to have a drink, but just turned on our heels and walked out. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, unless you like being leered at and stepping in puke. Disgusting.

Horrible pub in Leith, walked in and immediately didn’t feel safe and that was in the afternoon. Its just one of those pubs that should be avoided at all costs unless you are a local.
