I stopped in this Scottish Experience location on High Street and had a pleasant experience. First off, let me note that there are several shops on High Street that appear to be selling almost the same items. So with that being said, picking some cashmere scarves and a lambswool blanket for myself was going to come down to who had the best customer service. The second I stepped in the small shop I immediately got a friendly hello from the girl working that evening. She began by asking me lots of questions about what I was looking for, helping me find some options for scarves(at different price points), and she seemed to take an interest in what had brought me to Scotland. They had two different deals going on with their scarves for a set price. I couldn’t find 2 that I liked from the same brand, so she let me pick one from each lot and gave me the set deal. She also was helpful in explaining some differences between cashmere, cashmere blends, wool, and she was truly a salesperson. It feels nice to have someone sell you something and you feel good when you leave their shop. This was what my experience was like. Overall, I think they have a great little shop and if I decide to purchase more items, I will definitely stop back in here. The only real drawback for this shop is some of the pricing. Not that it is more expensive than anywhere else(cashmere isn’t cheap anywhere), it would just be nice to see more sales. Overall, I was very impressed with the person who helped me and the store itself.
