I quite like this Scotmid, they usually have what I’m looking for (more so than the one around the corner).
The fridge/​frozen section has a good selection, fresh baked goods are available and has pre-​made foods available for an easy dinner. Plus plenty of snacks, and who doesn’t love snacks?

I find it a bit strange that I’ve lived in Stockbridge for over a year and just noticed this Scotmid last week… I obviously have the attention span of a goldfish.
A Scotmid is a Scotmid is a Scotmid… but 9 times out of 10, I would pass on this one. Not because it’s particularly bad, but against some of the other grocers in the area, it is particularly forgettable.
The shop is pretty standard. It doesn’t have a huge selection but it ticks the box on most of the basics (though their icecream selection is pitiful). The staff are more or less indifferent the few times i’ve been in, but they haven’t been outright rude.

I don’t usually like Scotmid, but this one’s good. The staff are friendly and there is always a good range of fresh produce and nice meat. The flowers are nice too and it never seems to get too busy. Another good thing about thos place is the good wine deals– often two goodish bottles for a tenner.
