To Ally and the girls at SalonCafe,
Good haircut, funky music and good coffee… all the ingredients for a Great experience.

This is a friendly little salon with a really good atmosphere and a young, fresh and lively feel. They have pop music playing in the background which is nice, and you also get a complementary coffe or tea.
No one replied to my email, so after I called the salon they gave me an appointment that same day. They are open until 8 3 days a week so it’s perfect for popping in after work.
They don’t allow you to not have your hair washed and blow dryed, which is a bit annoying but since their prices are really cheap I didn’t mind. I paid £25 for a wash, cut with layers and professional blow dry (that looked really nice) and some finishing products. I was suitably impressed. They only tried selling their products to me once but when I firmly said thanks but no thanks they didn’t keep pressing, unlike in other salons.
On Wednesdays you get all colour done for 20% less so having your roots done or highlights (including wash and blow dry) will set you back a mere £20.
All in all i would recommend it to all my friends and family as it is not only excellent value but also very good service.

Excellent professional hairdressers.
I am someone who is very protective over their hair, so when I went for my appointment I was very anxious. However all these feelings were soon forgotten as my hairdresser was very friendly and listened to what I wanted and did not let me down!
You get offered a complimentary hot drink and the shampoo they use smells lovely! They are very professional and know what they are doing. You can often walk in and get your hair cut straight away or book an appointment for later that day. They also have a website where you can book online and have gift vouchers etc.
The hairdressers itself is very modern with cool lighting!
The music I find is perfectly fine but I doubt it would appeal to the over 60s!
The price varies with which hairdresser you have.
All in all, Excellent, and I would definately recomend it to a friend.
