The first time we came here, we thought it was a self service laundrette. From her super power laundrette judgement, the lady on the desk knew this. And so, she said, ‘this isn’t self-service.’ She wasn’t rude, rather mattter-of-fact. And so we went home and shrugged. It was £20 for two bags. To which, we thought, we can do this at home. We demolished dirty clothes mountain between the two of us. Dirty clothes mountain resurfaces weeks down the line and so we think, hmmm, let’s try that non-self-service laundrette. We head around with two HUGE Ikea bags full of things which require to be dry cleaned or need to be washed carefully or things we’re too damn lazy to shove in the washing machine. We picked it up the next afternoon but if you needed it fast you could have it the very same day. The clothes were nicely packaged and obviously a lot of care had been taken when cleaning the clothes. We were really impressed with this and the cost. I don’t have a huge amount to say for the service as it’s an in-and-out kind of place but we were pleased with the clothes, and that’s the most important thing.
