Not one of the finest pubs on Rose Street. It is usually empty early evening, as it is set up more as a nightclub type bar, with few seats and big standing areas which second as dance floors when the lights are dimmed and music turned up later on. It can attract some characters later on, once people have finished drinking in the more traditional pubs on Rose Street. I’ve never seen any trouble here though, as there’s a few bouncers there at weekends. They have a number of tvs showing Sky sports, and music channels if there’s no sport on. It’s a useful addition to Rose Street as it does provide an alternative to the old fashioned pubs. It’s also nowhere near as expensive as the clubs on George Street. But if you can afford the extra £1 per drink, you’re better off elsewhere.
