This is the O2 shop where I got set up on my renewable monthly contract for my iPhone 5. They are located in St. James Centre and they are pretty much like any other O2 shop. The staff was competent, friendly, and pretty knowledgable. This location is quite busy.
I did have some issues getting all of my bolt-​on features set up and so I ended up having to use the customer service phone number to get everything up and working properly. The staff in the store did answer a lot of my initial questions before I picked my mobile phone provider, so they did play a role in my decision to go with O2 during my time here in the UK.
The downside to this O2 shop is that they are terribly busy at times with people stopping in to pay their bills. So at certain times getting helped here is impossible. My advice would be to stop in around the time when they open to ensure that you can deal with someone and get all of your questions answered.

I am a big fan of this branch of the o2 shop. I am only an o2 pay-​as-​you-​go mobile broadband customer, all of which was arranged through the internet, so when my ‘dongle’ (stupid stupid word) stopped letting me connect I was a bit panicked — who should I turn to? Argh! I took my laptop and ‘dongle’ (*shudders*) into the o2 shop on the off chance that they might be able to sort it out (I was fully expecting them to tell me where to go), and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only they the guy identify the problem, he sat down with my laptop and got all the updates etc that I needed in order to keep the internet functioning properly. Hero!
