Sadly one of my poor goldfish died, so I thought I’ll get my surviving fishie a friend! I also figured it’d be a good idea to get a few extra pieces of equipment (gravel cleaner, air stone etc) so that this fish might live a bit longer. I’d bought plants from here before which fell apart when I cleaned the tank, which isn’t great but possibly my own fault so I’ve bought the same ones again in the hope they stay intact this time!
The shop assistant wasn’t particularly friendly, answering my question about whether they had any freshwater snails with a gruff and unhelpful «no»… but prices are reasonable and the selection is good. Plus they’ll look after reptiles and amphibians if you go on holiday, very useful.
No doubt I’ll be back as it’s the closest aquarium specialists to me, and fingers crossed Constanze the fish survives!
