Great choice of both traditional and modern kilts and highland dress for sale and hire. Very informed shop staff who even explained to me the difference between kilt trousers and trews.

This is the only place to go if you want a bespoke highland dress. Kinloch Anderson specialise in making kilts or trews form scratch. The staff are extremely knowledgable about tartan, the way it should be worn and what you should be wearing. These guys make highland dress for the Royal family. Why not pop in and visit the tartan museum? They have great tartan books with samples of tatran and special orders they have made over the years. They also stock sporrans, quaichs, cufflinks and belts. the have ready made stuff and they do wedding hire or hire for special occasions. Not cheap but great value. Kilts are supposed to last generations not five minutes.
