Joy Bangla

We love ordering takeaway from Joy Bangla as a weeknight treat. The aroma whenever we walk by gives us serious curry cravings!
Joy Bangla does takeaway only, and seems to primarily be open in the evenings. The wait time can be up to about 30 minutes, so call ahead to minimize time spent in their waiting area. The food is really worth the wait, as it’s always hot and tastes freshly prepared. It’s as good as I’ve had in many of the sit down Indian restaurants in Gorgie and Dalry. The prices are quite reasonable, especially if you get something like their set meals. Portions are large.
The surfaces and floors always seem clean, and the staff is professional.
The reason that I didn’t award 5 stars is that there is no space for sit in orders but as the shop itself is small there isn’t anything they can do about this.
