Elm row is the main bus stop used by Lothian bus drivers this is where the majority of routes swap drivers coming on/off of their shifts. There are frequent buses passing this stop, I’d say it must be one of the busiest in town. Needless to say that as I write this review the Elm row bus stop is not in use due to the TRAMS! there is a temporary stop a little further down the road.

This has to be one of the most important bus stops in Edinburgh. The Lothian Bus company has it’s main depot just around the corner so many services terminate here. There are often buses parked waiting for a change of driver, so often there is a chance to catch a stationary bus. The other factor is location, which makes this stop one of the best places to change bus services to access most of Edinburgh. The stop has real time bus tracking, so you can time a visit to valvona and crolla’s famous shop whilst you wait.
