The curry house meal for 2 takeaway I had was plentiful and of a decent standard. Good curries are plentiful in Edinburgh and the only reason it didn’t stand out was it was a carry out.
Good value? About the price for a decent meal with lots to choose from. I would love to see a restaraunt do something different for a change, maybe I’m missing something but they all seem the same really. Batches of sauce and regularity of tastes for example it is hard to rate.
I’ll go again and again to the Curry house, but I live within 1 km seemingly. The chicken korma tasted like the chicken was added rather than cooked with the sauce, but who buys kormas anyway?

This is my absolute fave Indian takeaway in Edinburgh so it’s not hard to believe I am somewhat of a regular customer here.
Their food is amazing, the prices are reasonable and the staff are extremely friendly. I tend to order online via
, as the food is more enjoyable when it is delivered to you believe me if you go for a collection you will be driven crazy with the gorgeous aromas wafting around in the car, knowing you have to wait just that little bit longer to taste the wonderful cuisine.
I would highly recommend, if you haven’t already, to try The Curry House.
A wonderful selection of dishes and if you are unsure what to get ask the staff what they personally would recommend, as I have done this in the past and my palate has been introduced to the most amazing tastes by trying something I probably would never had ordered before.

Yum! Can’t think of a better indian take away in Edinburgh; only set back is that they don’t deliver as far as my home but it’s worth the drive to taste their beautiful cuisine. This is definitely my favourite Indian takeaway in Edinburgh and it’s great value for money. Would totally recommend the mushroom dupiaza for any vegetarians out there. Great!

This place is a curry lovers paradise. Food is very good, very fresh. Staff are very friendly, expect to wait for your food or pre order as this is a seriously busy Curry House.
