Stopped by here during lunch time in May. The restaurant is right on the Royal Mile and a 2 minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. The place was relatively empty, only about 2 – 3 other parties seated at the time. My friend and I both the Haggis and Mash and the Banoffee pie for dessert. It was both our first time trying the haggis and Banoffee. The haggis was tasty an well flavored but the texture was a bit too chewy and grainy, however that could’ve just been the nature of the dish/ingredients. The Banoffee was a bit on the heavier side, too rich and dense for my taste. There was only one waitress serving food and she was also the only host but service was quick and friendly. Lunch entrees were around 10 – 15 pounds. Walked out satisfied and full.
