So it’s a Costcutter? What does one say about a Costcutter?
Well first off, this particular little spot is run by some of the nicest folks imaginable, who don’t judge me, no matter how many times I go in for crisps.
Secondly, this your go-​to for obscure s*&t you don’t need but probably want. Case in point: yesterday, I was looking for natural cinnamon. Not ground cinnamon, not cinnamon sticks — natural bark cinnamon. I had careened around the city looking for it with no luck and just happened to be stopping in to this spot for milk on my way home.
Not only did they have a giant bag of bulk cloves, at half the price I had bought TWO jars of whole cloves down the street but sure enough, tucked into the back corner was bags of cinnamon bark. Obscure party take homes saved, minimal effort needed.
There’s not a ton of selection here, but they do have quite a bit of stuff you can’t find elsewhere and that makes me a fan. I’m happy to have this little place right around the corner, for crisps and obscure hobbies alike.
