Came here for a trim, nervous as usual because I’m awful at explaining – or even knowing – what I want. Left with gorgeous, bouncy hair. The girl who washed my hair was very sweet, and managed to give a great wash while avoiding getting anything besides my head wet(a little bit a pet peeve of mine). The hairdresser was also very friendly, and was very patient with me(despite my having the vaguest ideas of what I wanted her to do). It’s a bit pricey here, but with the student discount, it’s manageable.(I’d rather it was a little cheaper, but that might just be because I’m used to US prices. I’d rather pay a little bit more and make sure I get a good job, than risk it with the cheaper-looking places.) I’d definitely recommend these ladies – I found nothing to complain about and came out with lovely hair.

I had a hair-up done here as a bridesmaid The girl that did it was in accommodating and wouldn’t shut up about my hair being fine. She didn’t even try to adhere to the brief I gave her and moaned about the requests given to me by the bride. I now get amazing hair-ups done at Miss Dixibellevin Bruntsfield. The only cool thing about cheynes is their massaging hair washing chair. Prices are stupid and not worth it. My hair-up that day lasted a few hours.

Cheynes have looked after my diminishing head of hair for the last thirty years. I usually have my hair cut by Caroline but if she is not available Lloyd does the deed. I have alwayus been delighted by the result and always promise to be back more often.
