This is a great café for breakfast. In Edinburgh early for a day trip and foundCafe Florentine. Great veg and non-​veg breakfasts, well cooked and clearly using good quality ingredients — will definitely go back if in Edinburgh again.

As with most areas of central Edinburgh we are all supplied with a wide choice of somewhere to have a coffe & snack. On a recent visit to the central library I chose to pop in to this cosy café and had a great coffee & pastry served very fast in a clean and attractive setting.
If you want to speak to Idris the owner he is always on hand to make sure your food and drinks are acceptable etc.
