Body Work Cave

The first time I heard of this place was when I bought a voucher of ITISON: 1h massage, full body for £25. I did not know what to expect, but I thought to give it a chance.
At first it was hard to get an appointment with them. Nobody picked up the phone. No return calls. At one point I got an email reply. Still, it took us a month to finalise a date for the so anticipated full body massage.
The place is located off London road. Easy to access by car and bus, 26,44,4…
I was not able to find it at first and had to call in for directions. The outside is bright orange. You can’t really miss the place, located just beside a bicycle shop.
I learned that the place is shared with other businesses. Good news is that this will change and body works will be able to put their own touch onto this place.
At the moment the reception room looks chaotic and empty of soul. It will get better with warmth to it.
In the back there are two rooms for the massages. Again, one of the rooms is very small, just enough space for a massage table and a side table. The clothes go onto a hook on the door. A heater is squeezed into a corner of which also soft and classy music escapes.
Lynne, my therapist knows her stuff and makes up for the meager surroundings. You can let her know the way you want to be massaged and she will try and comply.
Hopefully the place will be in her hands very soon and she will make it blossom with customers and decorative spirit.

This is the best massage I have had in Edinburgh! It was amazing and Piotr is not only very kind and helpful but also really knows everything about massage. He is extremely talented and worked wonders on my sore back and shoulders.
I bought a recent Groupon deal (and another deal on Groupon for Body Works Cave has just gone up today) and called promptly to make an appointment. Piotr was able to fit me in early on a Saturday morning, and it was the perfect way to start my weekend. It was 60 minutes of pure bliss and I can’t recommend it more highly!
