This outfit has been set up to extract as much money as possible from you for the smallest amount of fun and enjoyment by return. Craig Dunn the alleged marketing and communications manager is a rude, unhelpful, arrogant and generally unpleasant individual who will basically tell you«tough shit» whatever your query, complaint or concern. You would have more fun and better value for money going to your local DIY store, buying some paint and slinging it about with your mates in a field!

An absolute nightmare to book, unhelpful phone salespeople. I bought some vouchers on Groupon and only afterwards realised that Bedlam was the most expensive site I’ve ever visited, where you will be paying almost 3 times the price that most other sites charge(£10 for 50 at Bedlam, £6−7 for 100 anywhere else). If not for these vouchers, I would have doubtless chosen another site. The website lacks important planning information and the deals on paintballs, know as upgrades are highly restrictive. I recommend Delta Force which is 20 minutes down the road. Hoping the day is well run but from what I have seen, I’m not optimistic.

Bedlam Paintball are meant to be Scotland’s leading paintball supplier and if that is the case, then paintball in Scotland is doomed… From first glance, everything looked to be alright. The car park was ok, they had a large, clean base camp and picnic area decked out with some necessary facilities but as a company you can’t rely on good facilities… The staff were disorganised and seemed to care more about mucking around with each other than they cared about organising the day which meant that there was a lot of waiting around. The paintballs were extremely expensive. We were never told how many paintballs were in each«pod», we just had to pay for them. A great way of making money there Bedlam… The games weren’t great/there wasn’t as many of them as we hoped, lunch was ok as were the facilities but overall it wasn’t as advertised. Far too expensive for what we got, looked a lot better on the website.

There’s nothing better than splattering your chums with grape sized balls of paint, leaving bruises and swelling in your wake. For a reasonable £20(basic package) you can play 8 scenarios of adrenaline fuelled paintball action, although additional ‘ammo’ will cost you. Depending on where your hit, a direct shot can make you wince but don’t fret too much. Full protective gear is provided and the pain merely serves to get your adrenaline pumping. Hilarious fun with a group of friends, with plenty of potential to avenge those school day pranks.
