Didn’t think much of Apero’s unfriendly interior, too much glass and black made it feel cold and unwelcoming. It didn’t feel like they had any interest in serving food and when we went to order there was really nothing worth spending the money on, as the kitchen only seemed to be able to prepare things that would compliment the vast range of champagne. It’s alright if you’re into that almost fake lifestyle but I’m not. Especially not mid-​week and especially not if you’re actually hungry.
However, what Apero did seem to excel at was it’s range of cocktails — the menu for them was rather weighty. Lots of choice for any budget (almost.)
