I’ve been into All About Eve a few times now. The first two experiences were good. Dominique did my facials and was very professional and personable one of those people who are naturals. Today, however, was a disappointment. However the general attitude and vibe seems to have changed from earlier in the year. I had to cancel my first booking and they couldn’t fit me in for another month or so but I had been advised that I could use the gift voucher given to me by my husband as an anniversary present. I arrived today and waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgement nor apology. The Receptionist looked like she didn’t want to be there. The beautician was fine, and technically very good, but initially fired a bunch of questions at me that she obviously hadn’t thought through. Perhaps she was trying to make up time. When paying at the end the lady who I assume was the manager abruptly said it wasn’t possible to use the £6 difference between the cost of the facial and the value of the card on products. It’s not so much waiting, or the policy on gift cards, it was the arrogant and rude delivery of it all. It’s such a shame because I would like to support local businesses. But quite frankly I felt bad that my husband had treated me and I came away with a mixed experience. Great for them if they’ve enough business to not have to be concerned with courtesies, but I also have a choice and on this occasion I’ll be voting with my feet.

A very stylish, professional and friendly beauty & Nail salon. My beauty Therapist is fab «Amy» is so professional and certainly knows her stuff! I have had the amazing facial, best facial i have ever had (and believe you me i have tried many over the years), eyebrow shape very good but i must must recommend Reflexology which i am currently having. If you are feeling rundown, tired, stressed, not sleeping Reflexology is definetly the answer!
Go on get down to All About Eve and treat yourself to a pamper session at very reasonable prices!

It’s good to have places like this on my doorstep, but it could do a bit better. I’ve had many manicures in here, and I think the quality of them is very much down to who you get doing them.

So I’ve been back and changed my mind a bit! One of my very good friends gets her nails done here regularly and she always praises it. I don’t get my nails done anywhere (they are bitten, broken and bruised, i like to think it’s because i’m so busy but it’s not… just lack of maintenance! Maybe i should come here afterall…) but my friend loves it. She says they don’t compare to anywhere else.
I came for the sunbeds, which I love. They offer a great bundle package for minutes, both stand-​up and lie down. it’s beautifully designed and is a really pleasant place! I’ve not been back for my eyebrows yet, but I will! Forget Eve, it’s all about me!
