Every time I go to visit the States, I try to have some good old food from home before I go.
Ahmed Tandoori used to be my last bit of European (Indian) food fix.
Ahmed does the best Chicken Jalfrazi around, a good Chana Masala and lovely pillau rice.
When you order, you always get a complimentary poppadom, which I usually eat before returning home and find little crumbly bits of poppadom in the white takeaway bag that were dropped.
The staff is really nice in here and although the place is dim, I never mind standing here and having a chat with the manager about Indian culture.
You can also read out magazines whilst you wait. The food here is so good, honestly.
