Visited for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. The menu is very varied and caters for all tastes, there are daily specials available too and a seperate lunch menu with great sounding sandwiches. I chose the smoked salmon tartare with horseradish dressing and then the crab linguine with chilli and lime. The linguine was lovely, just enough chilli and plenty of crab meat through it.
The pub itself is a smart country pub, welcoming and friendly but well designed too. A changing choice of hand pulled ales and a gin & tonic menu… What is not to like!
It is definitely worth a trip out to if you are venturing out that way, and you can book your table in advance.
