Nice family pub, located on the way to stonecross. The food is nice and there is a nice atmosphere to match. Recently attended a family birthday meal here, so they also cater for events and larger parties. The menu was a set one although staff were flexible about choosing something from the menu instead, which worked out a lot cheaper. Good variety of meals available and all the usual alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available.
The set menu was, i thought, rather pricey at £20 a head — much better to pick from the daily menu.
Well worth popping into and it’s a lovely stop off if you go for a wandering walk up that way. There is a large old church opposite if thats the kind of thing you are into.
