Pets At Home

I went to the Pets at Home today to get a bit more information and another persons opinion on rabbits and guinea pigs, to help me decide which would be best for me to have as a pet when I move. I shopped around for a few bits for my Syrian hamster; Teddy Bean, and then approached a young gent called Lee to ask him whether it was possible to have a moment of his time to talk about the animals, and possibly hold one of each. I was pleasantly surprised at how keen and knowledgeable he was on the animals. He sounded like he was in the right job! Personally I do a lot of research on the animals, and was looking forward to challenging the staff with a few questions I was curious about. He answered them all and I was very happy to have left the shop with new facts.
I still have my quibbles with Pets At Home They have removed the Rotastak fluffy bedding nesting material from their shops, however still have the Happy Pet brand cotton bedding. The Roborivskis are still labelled as dwarf hamsters when they actually aren’t dwarf (Who’da thunk it, with their size?), and the prices are a bit high compared to my local pet shop.
Customer service is everything. Pets come first, and the people come second, and this member of staff really has got it. I walked out with a smile on my face.
