This is an excellent value for money Chinese restaurant, been to the all you can eat sessions on a few occasions now with friends and I’ve never been let down.

Excellent Chinese Restaurant and take away. Easily the best in Durham. I can honestly say it will be one of the few things we will miss when we move house. Last night we had take away and the duck was the best I’ve had.

As this is just along the road, we tend to order take away, but this is a beautifully decorated restaurant inside and out, the food is all freshly cooked and not too pricey, their specials are good value and for big eaters the eat as much as you want is excellent value (think it was around £14 a head) all freshly cooked to order which is far more appetising than some of the all you can eat buffets where you don’t know how long the food has been standing and who has been touching it!!! if i had to point out a negative, some of the more senior staff speak to their waiters/​waitresses appaulingly!

Absolutely superb Chinese restaurant. Quite easily the best Chinese restaurant in durham and the nicest staff I have ever come across in a restaurant too. The owners have spent a fortune on the elaborate décor both in and outside of this restaurant and in my opinion the Wok Inn in Brandon is better than the Pavillion for food and atmosphere and décor. Be careful to book early though as this place is now extremely popular and gets very busy. Superb on every level.
