Driving on our way to Perth & snacktime munchies set in… enter Country Bakery
4 beautiful words: Mac n Cheese Pie — very tender, flaky, crust w/​perfectly cheesy al dente pasta. Man, this thing was nirvana!
If you do nothing else in Scotland — GET THIS PIE!
Mom got the Broccoli & Blue Cheese Pie — not a lot of blue cheese but did have lots of broccoli & eggy.
Dad opted for the Sausage Roll & said it was very good — the bread was soft & sausage was flavorful w/​out being spicy
Small shop w/​a few tables — limited savory pastries & rolls & sandwiches to offer but they’re quite tasty & I’m sure you’ll find 1 that suits your fancy!
Great on the road snack — portable & delish!
