This is clearly a local favorite. There’s a line out the door during the lunch hour and they are fast — not Jimmy Johns fast — but pretty close to it for what looks like a family run sandwich shop. I was very happy to read the other 1 star review of this place because I LOVECRISPYBACON and clearly, from the line out the door, so do many other people. I was really looking forward to strait up crispy bacon but discovered that although it’s not the almost raw soggy bacon I’ve come across quite a lot in this area of the world it isn’t really crispy either. It is, however, cooked enough to make me not gag on the chewy fat. *two thumbs up* I didn’t realize you have to ask for mayo so my sandwich was pretty dry. I got the turkey bacon cheese. It was pretty good but seriously needed a sauce. I will remember for next time. I think the sign for the sauces was on the outside window… I don’t remember seeing it inside but I could’ve missed it for all the lists on the menu boards inside. They also have soups and sweet treats. I let myself have a macaroon — wow — really great and not at all what I expected on the inside. Almost good enough to be called crackaroons. The shop is really tiny but don’t let that stop you from going in. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Yet another place who thinks its acceptable to MICROWAVE bacon for hot rolls. Why?! It just goes all crunchy and bleh and crap and dehydrated!!! Is it really so much hassle to freshly cook stuff? Would you do it with an egg?!
