A great little café with the usual lovely and inexpensive snacks and light meals available. Everything freshly baked and prepared: macaroni pies, filled sandwiches, toasties, panini, soup, breakfasts. Buy any hot drink and get 20% off a hot filled roll.
A bit dismayed to find that the toilets were located at the top of a long steep flight of stairs — and then found they were locked! I had to go downstairs to find out why. Apparently the staff were taking measures to prevent people who weren’t using the café from using the toilets. All the local customers are used to asking for the key. There’s no disabled toilet either so maybe some improvements would be in order.
The staff were really helpful and friendly — always a good thing in my book!
