Large Asda superstore open ²⁴⁄₇. Ample parking to the front of the store.

This enormous store opened a just a few years ago, on the edge of the existing retail park.
As well as a large grocery section, there is a wide range of clothing (George brand) and a few aisles of homewares, toys, home electricals, music, computer games and DVDs, and seasonal stuff like garden products or Christmas decorations. It’s quite possible to spend over an hour just browsing through these things before you even make a start on your shopping. This, however, tends to make the overall shopping bill far more expensive as it’s almost impossible to progress to the foodstuffs before you’ve half-​filled your trolley with things you hadn’t set out to buy in the first place!
I therefore prefer to shop in Morrisons across the road, however this is an excellent store and well worth a look if you’ve got time to browse.
