Kings Arms

My wife and I were out exploring the town of Dorking and we came across this quaint little pub.
Nice atmosphere good place for a pint and they even have some snack-​foods.

They had live music when I was there on a Saturday night. Old guy cover band but they did a great job and plenty entertaining. This building is dark but very cool. I wouldn’t go here during the day since you could easily lose track of time without sunlight. Vampires would find this place perfect. Very rustic looking with low ceilings like something out of the Hobbit. The customer service was fairly decent as was their beer selection. Nothing special but decent. The crowd though was what made this place interesting. You won’t find a lot of American tourists visiting Dorking, which is a shame because I love this place. Maybe though I should shut up, they might not like this placing becoming a tourist stop.

Friendly pub with tables out the back for the smokers. Always has a good range of beers and there is live music during the week (they put a chalk board out on the pavement to warn you if all you want is a quiet pint). Seems to attract punters of all ages. Could do with a getting rid of the carpet!
