A very close idea of the real tuntankhamun without the expenses of seeing the real thing.
Very good place for kids to go if learning about the histrory of tuntankhamun.
Plenly there to keep you interested and lots of pieces to see.
As with all places there is a gift shop with some intersting pieces for gifts from your day.

This is an interesting place with a mock-​up of Tutankhamen’s tomb as its centrepiece. The story of the discovery is explained along with a history of ancient Egypt which involves an enormous amount of written material displayed on the walls. You are then led into the antechamber, and through into the main chamber. The final part of the museum contains replicas of the famous jewels including the legendary golden mask. The obligatory souvenir shop has a wide range of gifts at mostly not unreasonable prices, and a good range of Egypt related books.
