The name of this place says it all really. You can exercise and it costs you very little. I took out a 15 month contract for £120. That would have covered only 3 months elsewhere. The equipment is quite basic but covers all the main areas. There are a plethora of running machines and cardio stuff, which is great as that is what tends to get taken up the fastest. There are weight areas and a good studio for classes, though not as many classes as I’d like. Quite often though a crucial bit of equipment will be out of order. There doesn’t seem to be any major rush to get things fixed. They are eventually but could really screw with your routine if one piece is out of action(today it was a lat pull down machine, of which there is only one). The showers are pretty crap too. The cleaner sits in a little room and doesn’t seem to do anything so the floor stays quite wet and there are pools of water left in the shower cubicles that should be swept into the drains. Overall the floor is buckled and the water should be draining properly anyway without anyone having to do anything. On the plus side, there is tonnes of room in the changing area and lots of lockers. So, not a plush place and certainly not somewhere to go to get a relax. You turn up, run your little heart out, watch crap telly via subtitles, then get yourself clean and go home. For the money I’ve paid though I really can’t complain. Plus I can’t go and pop into the jacuzzi the pretend i’ve had a good session!

I Joined this gym a few months ago and I have to say I was really impressed with the equipment that was there. There is a vast array of machines as well as probably the biggest set of free weights on offer in doncaster all for the very reasonable price of £10 a month. I usually train around lunch or early afternoon as these seem to be the quitest periods if you leave it much after 5 it gets really busy and even though there is plenty of machines and equipment you can struggle to get on what you need to. They run regular classes such as spinning boxercise and zumba which I dont take advantage of but is a good for the people who wish to. The changing facilities are decent enough however you do have to provide your own padlock for the lcokers which you can buy for £4 from reception which I think is steep but im sure thats how they make a little more money with the membership being so cheap. The other draw back is that they have no water machines and you have to get your water from the changing rooms where only one sink provides drinking water. When speaking with the gym about this they say it is to keep membership prices down which I cannot complain with as I have said they are cheap.
