The Pilgrim Fathers Caravan Park

Stayed at this site for the weekend. Basic site toilets with showers, but no washing up facility. There are electric hook up points though (6amp) but they will trip very easily if overloaded.
But at just £10 per night with no extra charge for the dog it was well worth it. The toilets aren’t cleaned very often — would love to go mad with some bleach! There is one individual shower for men and one for women which is heated by solar power — bit tricky in winter the toilets are SO COLD in winter too.
Turn down the lane by the pilgrim fathers pub (no connection) at Scrooby. And by the way — please try the carvery at this pub — its great at £5.95 with loads of meat (choice of 4 roasts).
Update July 2010: Now £11.00 pn with electric hook up — very good value.
