Bawtry Motor Auction

Enjoyed visiting &
buying here over the years. Mostly my experience has been good. Great
for people watching. Men acting like men & trying to look casual
when serious & serious when unknowing.
Only really 2
gripes. 1^st is that adults are allowed to take children (&
babies!) into the main hall which (always) fills with car fumes. This
is wrong to be allowed & terrible of a parent. My other gripe
(not so life threatening) is that if the mileage on your car is not
proved it doesn’t get tagged (sticky label in car window) as
’unverified’ it gets tagged as ‘incorrect’, which (surely) is
incorrect. A bit like being able to use ‘unreasonable force’ against
a burglar i.e.; the definition of ‘unreasonable’ or
’disproportionate’ being ‘unreasonable’ & ‘disproportionate’. A
no brainer really!
Just bare in mind that it is an auction, so
unless ‘you’re in the know’ treat it like betting on horses i.e.;
don’t spend your life savings, but you might get lucky! Some really likable personalities here!
