Weavers Wine Bar & Eating House

Like others said, this restaurant has solid food. My colleagues had soup and really liked it. My giant prawns were good but open riviolo was just OK.
Complimentary bread basket is filled with nice soft bread.
The wine menu has good selections and the red wine we selected from France (St. Emillion) was only about 30 pounds per bottle (this is no less than 90 – 100 dollars at other restaurant in Europe).
Restaurant is cozy and good ambiance for business dinner or date night.
Friendly service. Highly recommended when you are in Diss.

I was so disappointed with the meal we had at Weavers — I felt the service was unfriendly, the food poor and the everything was very overpriced. It was a Saturday evening so it might be they were rushed, but the Mussels in white wine sauce looked microwaved!
We have friends who really like the restaurant so maybe should give it another chance, but I just don’t want to go back… there are much better restaurants within 2 minutes drive.

Probably the best know eatery in the town.
They do a scrumptious Christmas menu.
It truly is fine dining.
Location at the top of the fork on market hill.
