Dewsbury Arts Group

May be a bit biased here, but having been part if this group for more than half of my life, I can’t help it! It’s a lovely little theatre built on an old Quakers building, a studios theatre, rehearsal rooms, recording studio and more. The group put on a seasonal playbill runnig from September to July and including 6 main house productions and many other events throughout the year.
There’s also a visual arts side to the group that exhibits throughout the year and stages events including weekly life drawing sessions.
It’s a great little community run group putting on high quality amateur dramatics in their own, established studio theatre. There’s plenty of info about everything that’s going on, on their website, though it could do with updating a bit…
