Returning to Devizes after a long absence, our first meal had to be fish + chips — and we’ve eaten at every chip-​shop in town over the years, but not for more than 5 years, so we asked for a recommendation… this was a discussion fraught with multiple opinions — but we settled on Lee’s — and the result was GREAT… this was the best Fish + chips we’d had in YEARS!
The chips were at least double-​fried — and a good portion– the haddock was a nice large pies and crispy batter — made to order — not sat in the warmer waiting to be bought.
we would definitely go back to Lee’s without hesitation.
