A relatively new branch of Costa, set in the Kingsway Retail Park in a row of shops that also includes Subway and Greggs. One of the things that the Kingsway has needed for many years is a decent place to stop and have a coffee. Previous to this Costa opening, there had only been the café associated with Sainsburys, which gets full very quickly. This branch has a good outlook onto the Retail Park, and a variety of seating from bar stools near the door, to bigger tables suitable for groups. Modern in décor, the furnishings are smart and unobtrusive, and the art that adorns the walls is modern; I particularly the modern art style print at the back of the restaurant that shows the different coffees Costa serves. All the usual staples are here from cappuccino to americano, hot chocolates to lattes, as well an impressive selection of cakes to tempt you, the lemon tart and chocolate twist being our particular favourites. One of the busier Costas I’ve been to, with people drinking in and ordering takeaway coffees, sometimes I think they could do with a few more staff, but on the whole a great addition to the Kingsway Retail Park
