During our family holiday in Devon, we made use of the steam railway. It was a very nice trip, although a very short one. The total journey time from Paignton to Kingswear is about half an hour. Then we went onto the ferry from Kinsgwear to Dartmouth. The journey was very nice and was th highlight of our holiday! It’s quite expensive though, £37.50 for a family of 4 for a return ticket although that included the train and the ferry. Not something you’d want to do too often but a lovely way to get to Dartmouth.
