We went there on a rainy day, so it was empty except for two other customers. We Ordered bangers and mash which were pretty good, the steak and kidney pie was good, also chicken korma but the pasta in the lasagne was disappointing because the pasta was hard and dry however overall the food was OK not fantastic. The staff were very friendly too The park around it, had ducks and chickens and a playground so its very family friendly.

We recently visited this pub with our children and found it to be reall family friendly and welcoming. The food was good and my husband appreciated the real ales on sale. The garden was great for the kids with climbing frames, swings and a variety of animals to keep them occupied for ages. Well worth a visit especially come summer.

This is quite a small, local pub with a friendly atmosphere. It has two bars, a public bar and a Saloon bar, the décor inside is quite dated and could do with a bit of a refurb, but somehow this fits in with the character of the place.
There is a conservatory at the back and a large beer garden for kids to play in. At Christmas they dedicate an area to a big grotto kind of thing to raise money for charity, which is really nice.
Quite a big parking area outside, it is on a narrow country lane and quite hard to find unless you know its there. It is in a nice countryside location but a little but run down. Worth popping in for a pint as it does have a homely feel to it, and there’s not much else in the immediate vicinity.
